VoIP – The Question is Not Why, But Rather, Why Not?

Many small businesses are still not aware that there is no reason to stick with the traditional phone systems any longer. b) Rollover. You can configure your voicemail to be sent as audio files or dictation to your email inbox. Likewise, you can avoid missing calls in the first place by configuring your VoIP calls to ring on your cell phone or a landline.

5. Improved technology means no more hesitations. Sometimes, a small business owner will hesitate on VoIP because of two reasons:

a) The phone quality is worse than on landlines, or
b) They’re afraid there won’t be a backup plan in case of an electrical or internet outage.

Thankfully, the VoIP technology has reached the point that these two previous worries have now become myths: Voice quality is on par with traditional telephony lines, and backup telephony systems can be put into place, such as via cellphone internet connections, and/or having a simple landline setup.
